Current work in Progress:
The Divine Monologues - short monologues looking at the lives of women within a faith and spiritual context. From Sarah in the Old Testament through to the wildly wonderful Marjorie Kempe and some of the Welsh revivalist women, these are set to ignite discussion and motivate women to know that we can all make a difference.
The Adventurers of the Commode Sisterhood - based on experiences of living with lung disease, set in a Liverpool hospital ward with 6 matriarchal scousers.
Last Year I came third in the Anansi Archive for a flash fiction piece, A Woman of Virtue - link in Blog section. I was also highly commended for an entry to the King Lear Poetry Prize for my Piece 'Deaf & Death'. These were the first ever writing competitions I have entered - so delighted at the endorsements for my work.
Since then, my portfolio has increased significantly and I will be leading some writing workshops in my home village of Dolgarrog in summer 2024.
